Rose’s POV Penny and I make our way over to the store front. We pull up and hop out of the car. “Well, here we are!” She announces. I see the sidewalks bustling with activity. People are going in and out of the hotel next door, Penny was right this is a good location. There’s a lot of foot traffic. The space itself looks a little shabby. There’s a square section of lighter colored paint above the door where I’m guessing the old sign used to be. “How long has it been empty?” I ask. “Umm not sure, maybe seven, eight months?” Penny says. She grabs the set of keys from her pocket, and fumbles with them, looking for the right one. She finds it and unlocks the door. She pushes but the door doesn’t budge.
