Saskia POV
As I approached the pack house, my heart was pounding in my chest. I knew that facing Lennie would be one of the hardest things I had ever done, but I also knew that it was something I had to do. Sadie would be my toughest one to face. I was certain the alpha would have a few words for me too.
I would deal with everyone else afterwards but I owed him an explanation.
I was walking down the hallway when I suddenly bumped into Anaya. Her expression immediately turned sour as she recognized me. She crossed her arms over her chest and took a step back, giving me a cold look.
"What are you doing here?" Anaya asked, her tone clipped.
I looked taken aback by her hostility. "I, uh, I came to talk to Alpha about something important," I replied, my voice shaking slightly.
