Sadie's POV Once shifted back to my own human form, I pulled on my dress and looked across at Jacob. He looked sad and embarrassed at the scene he had witnessed. As I approached Jacob, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. There was something about him but I could see the sadness in his eyes, and I knew that he had been through a lot. "Hi," I said softly, my voice barely above a whisper. "Hi," Jacob replied, his voice equally soft. Despite the sadness in his eyes, I could see that he was kind and gentle.
