Chapter Eight-Eight. Unwanted Guest. Del’s Point of View. The high-pitched screech of the trains brakes, accompanied by the smell of diesel indicates I am soon to arrive at Kings Cross station. I watch out the window, as we pull up along the platform. The commuters are already forming a queue into the narrow aisle as the grab their baggage from the overhead nets or under their seats. I wait patiently, not bothering to move just yet. I am more than excited about seeing my mate, but I am not prepared to get into the ‘elbow’ fight to get off the train first. As the doors open, the people begin to shuffle down the carriage, and I finally stand up and join them, stopping at the big luggage area at the front of the carriage to grab my black holdall, before stepping onto the platform.
