Arcturus and Darius had a far more difficult mission than Caleb and Jamie did, theirs were encampments that were in the know with the WIC, they knew about the dn mutants program and had tons of candidates from the experiment, only that these candidates were the failed experiment. The WIC did indeed tell them about dragons and how they could make soldiers better by turning them into one or giving them the attributes of a dragon, but what they did not tell them was that there were dn mutants who could fully evolve into huge dragons, they sent back those who couldn’t achieve the full transformation but where already enhanced and could transform either parts of their body to look like that of a dragon or they could just stay in a part transformed state where they enhance their own bodies with
