CHAPTER 23 Benitoe looked at the computer screen over George’s shoulder at the State College library. His friend was tapping away like mad, taking notes, but it all moved too quickly for him to make out. He glanced around cautiously. There wasn’t anyone close by, so he took advantage of a momentary pause to grab George’s arm and whisper urgently, “Tell me what you’re doing.” George started, as if he’d forgotten Benitoe’s presence. “Sorry, I got carried away.” He leaned back and consulted his notes. “Look, I’ve found out where this Shandaken is.
