Alexander watched with heavy amusement as Evelyn scurried from the bathroom. He would have been lying if he had claimed that he hadn’t stolen another glance at the woman before she jumped to put her dress back on.
His new Luna was truly becoming an interesting addition to his life. However, there was still much more he needed to uncover about her before he could allow himself to trust her. And even then, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to bring Evelyn in on his plans.
Actions, indeed, spoke louder than words...
And Alexander wanted to put Evelyn’s claim of admiring and wanting to care for him to the test. He’d purposely placed them both in a precarious situation—one that was meant to reveal her true nature.
