Ezren’s POV
Ezren watched Freya and Grace interact from across the hall. Leaning against the wall, he knew things couldn’t be the same between Freya and him anymore. She won her inheritance case, and Kael wasn’t a legal threat anymore.
The day after the attack in court, Zack provided enough evidence to the police against Kael and the death of Freya’s parents that he could be charged on top of fraud and assault.
However, if Kael were to get out of jail, Freya would have to be very careful. Ezren had no doubt that Kael would come for her. He would have to keep an eye on him.
