(Sanya's POV) I pick up the bird carefully. I hold it in my hands. I close my eyes and focus on that warmth again, on that strange power flowing through me, and I let it pour into the bird, let it heal whatever's broken inside this tiny creature. When I open my eyes, the bird is whole. Its wing is straight, its body still, calm, and it looks at me with bright eyes before it spreads its wings and flies away, disappearing into the trees, leaving me standing there with my hands still tingling, still warm from whatever power just passed through them.
