After I broke down in tears over Brady, Liam pulled me onto his lap and soothingly rubbed my back. I ended up falling back asleep in his strong arms, then I awakened later in the morning with one of Liam's arms draped over me.
He had us lying on our sides with my back against the front of his torso. I could feel the warmth of his breath on the back of my neck, while his sweet scent permeated my nose, and it was the best thing to wake up to.
At first, I stayed still so I wouldn't awaken Liam. However, after a few minutes, I had an overwhelming desire to touch him, so I trailed my fingers along his arm that was draped over my side. Instantly, those wonderful sparks flowed between us, and there was no stopping the smile that formed on my face.
