When Alexandria stood up from the couch, she instantly started swaying, so I was quick to scoop her up in my arms, then I carried her to the bedroom. After I laid her down, I climbed onto the bed and pulled the blanket over us, then I cuddled to her.
I thought she felt a little warm, but I wasn't positive, because we hadn't spent much time together. I was just happy that she had come to cheer me up. Not to mention the fact that having her with me was like taking a sedative, and it didn't take no time for me to fall asleep.
However, I woke up a few hours later to the mattress shaking, and Alexandria laying on the edge of the bed with no blanket covering her. She was covered in sweat like she was hot, but her body was shaking like she was cold.
