Alexandria cradled Mira in her arms until Liam insisted she get some rest. After she passed Mira to Liam, she stood up and immediately swayed a little.
I was quick to stand up, then I circled an arm around her waist and pulled her against my side. Alexandria leaned against me and mumbled, "Thanks, Brady. Apparently I am more exhausted than I realized," as we walked to the bedroom.
Once she was comfortably lying on the bed, Alexandria drowsily asked, "Would you mind lying down with me for a few minutes? I'm sure Liam would be thrilled about getting the chance to bond with Mira."
