(Narah POV)
My body was aching all over. I could feel the burns on each and every part of me, the over-exerted energy crushing my soul.
I let out another groan in pain. But this time it was accompanied by a wave of sparks. It oddly calmed down my nerves and made me feel at ease.
"Please wake up" a familiar voice rose making me frown.
Tristan?

His voice sounded so pained and it made my heart break. I knew what was happening in my body. The excess of foreign energy I absorbed needed to be blended with my ordinary powers. By doing so I will be able to be a bit stronger.
Honestly, it’s a win-win. Ashley will be safe and I will gain a little more power.
