"You are really smart obeying me and making sure your mate leaves." The voice I hate revolved around me as I ground my teeth and glared at the ground.
"Tonight I want you to come to the forest lake just outside the king's territory. I will be happy to personally come and pick my long lost bride" he kept speaking inside my head as I stayed silent.
I hated all of this.
It's been exactly 18 hours since my mate left. Each hour felt like a blow in my heart as I wanted nothing more than to run to him. Beg him for taking me back. Plead him sorry for everything I did to him.
But that was something I can't do. That is something I should not do.
Ending everything with him is for the best.
