I stormed back to the pack house and left Alpha Gray behind. My emotions were in turmoil. The kiss I shared with him still lingered on my lips, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that a part of me still yearned for him.
I asked myself why I was feeling this way now. The moon goddess had cut the ties of our mate bond, freeing me from his claim. I should be over him, yet the spark within me had reignited.
