I was squealing inside as they moved everything into the house. I hadn’t expected Damon or anyone else to make such a big deal out of this, but I was over the moon. Damon had surprised me the most, and it warmed my heart, and it killed me to act indifferent. I wanted to hug him, kiss him, and let him know exactly how thankful I was. However, I wasn’t about to let him get away with things that easily.
“Where do you want this?” Eric asked as he came up to me. It was a box labeled private, and I was terribly tempted to take the box from him. While I had expected their help, I certainly hadn’t expected how far my friends were prepared to go for me. For me! I hadn’t thought I was that special to them, but apparently, I really was a part of their exclusive group.
