“Are you insane?” my father questioned as he pulled me into his office. I stared at him for a moment as he waited for me to explain myself. When I still didn’t say anything, he continued. “The man kidnapped his own sister to get revenge on his father. Are you seriously telling me that you fell in love with him? Him?”
“Dad, stop,” I said as I rolled my eyes. “We all make mistakes. We all have a little bit of darkness in our past. You cannot judge him without knowing the whole story,” I pointed out. My father eyed me for a moment, and then he shook his head.
