Parking outside the Stephanie's apartment, Daniel's face can't be read but Stephanie knows that he's upset of how the night ended.
It was a good chat and a nice get together with the both of them and his parents until his grandmother shows up and ruined it.
She called Stephanie a low class woman and cheap. Even compared her with a woman that she thinks will fit better in Daniel's life than being with a trash like Stephanie.
Their laugh and happiness melted like an ice cream under a hot sun. And it changed Daniel from an endless laughing fox to an angry, sulking lion.
Wanting to comfort him, Stephanie placed a hand on his thigh that Daniel covered with his huge hand.
