There's this stinging pain going on not just inside her heart but also to her organs. Stephanie has spent a whole lot minutes of cursing Daniel and murdering him in her head but then suddenly what he said last felt like someone threw a bucket of boiling water while she portrays an ice cream.
She should be thankful that he doesn't have any purpose towards her as something romantic. She should be. But the problem is... she feels like expecting something like that from him.
Yet he just made it official, he didn't come to aid her but to save her from embarrassment and to also save his ass.
