I stare at the text I sent Jake for the millionth time and sigh. It's been over an hour now since I texted him my whereabouts. I keep my phone next to me as I stare at the lake. I always loved coming here with Jake. The peacefulness and quietness. It was bliss. I stand up, get undressed and I dive inside the lake.
