" This is really beautiful, mom. I can't believe you quit writing in the first place." I say, glancing at a passage of her book on her laptop.
It's Saturday evening and I'm at my parents' Manor. I was bored and I missed Ashton when he only left yesterday. Throughout today, I occupied my head with different thoughts. I missed him so much. Also my mom wanted me to drop by today to have dinner with them and I just couldn't say no since there's no Ashton in the apartment.
" I'm glad you like it. My editor thinks it's amazing too. We're talking about publishing the book globally but I'm not sure yet."
" Why? You've always been a great writer."
She sighs as she turns off the stove. She smiles at me.
" I don't think I'm ready to face the world after my absence, sweetheart."
