I tilted my head, looked at him, and grinned foolishly. "His name is—Hudson Evans. Even his name sounds charming, right? You’ve probably never met him... He’s very mysterious... very low-key."
"Funny, I happen to know him," the man replied with another smile. Then he stood up, grabbed my arm, and said, "Come on, I’ll take you home."
