I opened my eyes and looked around the room. It was cold and dark with a musty smell coming from all directions and the only light coming from a crack in the door at the end of the long hallway. "Where am I?" I asked no one. The moment I spoke I regretted it; my throat felt as if someone had stabbed me repeatedly. My eyes fell on the light coming from the other end of the hall, I had no idea what was out there, nor how I ended up in that room, but something told me that I had to get out of there no matter what.
I tried to sit up, but my body felt as if it had been crushed under a rock. "Ouch" I cried out as I tried to move from the bed, I found myself on. I stopped moving and just laid there for a minute gathering my strength before trying again. Through pain and tears, I finall
