I stared at the clock, watching as the time clicked away. Every number that past brought me closer and closer to meeting the parents of the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I knew this day would come, I just didn’t think it would happen so soon, and in this way. At 3:59, I stood up grabbed my jacket and phone then walked to the door.
