I still had about three hours before I had to meet Imani, so I went to the barber shop, got a haircut, and a clean shave. Ever since I was 20 I had been growing my goatee because I like the way it made me look; however, at Imani's request I shaved it off, I just had no idea how Tailani would respond to it. The moment I made it to the apartment, I walked into mine, because I wanted to knock on Imani’s door so she could get the full experience of the date. I picked out a black Armani suit and purple tie to match her dress with some expensive ass shoes that Ryan convinced me to buy for the occasion.
I took one last look at myself in the mirror then grabbed this beautiful purple corsage that I had bought for Imani, then stepped out of my bedroom and bumped into James.
