After half an hour, I shake my head.
(This can’t happen. I can’t just stay here and wait. But what can I do? Either way, he is going to kill me, so I am not going down without a fight.)
But at this moment, all I can do is pace. I pace around the living room over and over until an idea pops into my head. A dangerous idea.
I take a deep breath and walk upstairs towards Aubrey’s room but there are guards in front of her door. When I try to go in, they stop me.
“No one is allowed.” The guard says.
“Why?”
He narrows his eyes at me. I roll my eyes and walk away. I now head to Olivia’s room. I knock but Dallas is the one that opens the door.
“Dakota!” He pulls me in and hugs me.
“Are you okay?” I ask him.
“Am I okay? Yea. Are you? Olivia told me what happened.”
