“What the heck are you guys doing here?”
“Austin invited us.” Nathan says.
“Give me that!” Natalie takes the toy ax away and he pouts.”
“I thought you guys didn’t get a long.” I ask.
“Well, Austin said he wanted you to feel comfortable and since he is now the Alpha of an ally pack, there is no animosity between us anymore.”
I roll my eyes. “Oh brother... just like that?”
“Yea, we are complicated creatures.” Nathan says.
“I feel like you guys are stupid sometimes.” I mumble and he gasps.
“Stupid! I'll have you know that-”
I put a finger up when my phone starts to ring, stopping him from talking.
“Gotta pick this up. And this is Olivia by the way.”
They smile at each other and start talking while I pick up my call.
