“How are you feeling?” I ask her as I drive.
“Much better today.” She says.
I marked her two days ago. Yesterday she was all day in pain and it slowly has been getting better. This is how it is for humans when they get marked.
I take her hand and squeeze it. She gives me a smile.
She is now officially my mate. I don’t think I could ever be any happier.
“There they are.” She says as we arrive at Hunter's pack.
We see Brenda, Lil, and the others outside. Today it’s Hunter’s ceremony where he becomes Alpha of the pack. His father is passing the title down. The ceremony is in the late afternoon but we were told to come earlier because Hunter’s dad is going to have a meeting.
I am a bit confused because it seems they are having a birthday party right now.
