Two more weeks have passed since we found their home empty. I have called and texted nonstop both Aubrey and Austin. Every single day. I even went to his workplace and talked to Mike. He was as confused as I was. Both Aubrey and Austin quit and he hasn’t heard from them. I think I am reaching my breaking point but something in me still doesn't want to give up. I still have hope that he will come back. But I am angry. I don’t know how I would feel about him if he does come back.
“Is this something that you would all do?” I ask Nathan and Ethan.
The guys look at me. “To be honest, no. I could never leave Natalie like that.” Nathan says and Ethan vigorously nods.
