“What happened?” I ask Phoenix.
I am now in his apartment. I had to leave Austin. He took me back to my dorm so I could use my car since he needed to head back to work and honestly, I don’t like being apart from him.
“What happened?!... After I left you in the courtyard, I met up with some friends in the burger joint. That girl Aubrey was suddenly there. I know that’s not something considered strange but swear I had never seen her before here in school and now suddenly, she is everywhere because right after, I left to get a boba drink and she was there too. When I headed home, I saw her leaning on the wall next to the building's front door. That’s when I had enough and asked her what was her problem. Dakota, the girl is crazy. She said that I was hers.”
