Alice pov I woke up with a start, my heart racing as the alarm blared near me. ‘Are you okay?’ Clarke asked with a yawn, stretching in my mind. I sighed, leaning over and shutting off the alarm. ‘I’m fine, just a bad dream.’ I said back to her as I stood up. ‘Was it about Gemma again?’ She asked me as I slipped clothes on. I ran my fingers through my hair and pulled it up into a messy bun. ‘Yes. When Ulric asked about the basement, it triggered the memory of her death.’ I said as I pulled out my contacts case. I sat down on the ground and opened the lids, making sure I picked the right one for the right eye. ‘You know, it’s not like he asked to upset you. He has his past, and you have yours. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt if you guys told each other about the deaths.’ Clarke said softly.
