NA’IMAH
“I didn’t ask for a show. Get rid of the dress unless you want me to tear it off your body and have you walk out of my palace naked when I’m done with you,” Kaedyr retorted as my hands trembled over the strings of the corset behind the dress I was forced into earlier.
I wanted to pretend as if his words didn’t get to me. I so badly wanted to put on a brave face when he spoke to me like I was a harlot he picked up from the streets. But anger and shame had my hands shaking so badly because this felt like a nightmare.
If I could ever predict anything in my life, being treated like this by the hands of a man I once thought I knew wouldn’t have been something I would’ve imagined.
“Turn around,” Kaedyr commanded in a bristled tone.
The dress fell off my body, pooling at my feet as I turned to face him. I still had my underwear on, but I knew it was only a matter of time before that came off as well.
“Hmm,” he hummed as he eyed me up and down. “Get rid of those, and then present yourself. I need to properly assess what I’ll be having for dinner,” he remarked in a bored tone, as if I were a piece of meat on his table.
Perhaps I was just that to him.
I did my best to control my trembling hands as I took off my underwear. As my underwear fell off, a low sound rumbled through his chest that had me looking up at him for a brief second. Our eyes met, and I cast my gaze down as a wave of shame washed over me.
No one. No one has ever seen me like this.
“Present,” he commanded, leaving me confused because I didn’t know what that meant.
I looked up, unable to meet his eyes. “I don’t know, I…” My voice shook as I became a stuttering mess.
“I knew you’d be stupid at that too. This might turn out to be the worst fvck I’ve ever had if you don’t even know what to do.”
“You can always have someone else; I am really bad at this,” I whispered, hoping he would do just that and let me leave.
Instead, he scoffed at my statement. “Why would I have someone else and miss out on the fun of watching you lose the light in your eyes?”
My head snapped up at his statement and my eyes widened a fraction as I digested what he had just said. “You’re doing this to spite me, to break me?”
He shrugged, running his hands through his hair as he began walking towards me. “Why else would I be doing this? I am not that desperate for a fvck, Princess. My palace is filled with young maidens that are eager and ready to spread their legs for their king; no complaints.”
“Then get one of them and let me go,” I sneered, clenching my hand into a fist.
“Now, now, Imah, give me one good reason why I should do that.” He asked, stopping a breath away from me.
“Because you hate me, and I hate you,” I gritted out, my body tensing as he reached forward to caress my cheek.
“That’s my motivation, though. That’s the reason I need to do this. You have quite the audacity to think you can hate me, to feel vindictive towards me. Why? Because I decided to take your miserable clan for myself? Your people had it worse before I swooped in, and you were a princess of nothing who has never smelt royalty a day in her life. But after tonight, you can boast about finally having a taste of real royalty. And I also need to remind you that you are nothing. You are powerless and nothing but a tool to me. Tools and objects don’t feel vindictive. I should clip those vengeful wings of yours before they grow any bigger.”
My face flamed with anger and my hybrids clawed for release just to have a go at him. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. How can one person be so cruel? How? To think there was ever a moment when I thought he was someone worth saving…
“You…” I bit back my retort and snapped my eyes shut as every nerve in my body wanted to hit him in the face.
He laughed, running his fingers from my neck down my cleavage and my hands moved before I could caution myself to hold back as I slapped him in the face.
My hand trembled as it dropped beside me while I dreaded the worst reaction from him. Taking a step back as he palmed his face, Kaedyr ran his eyes over me in a condescending way, and then he chuckled.
“There goes the little kindness I was willing to give,” he muttered lazily.
I couldn’t tell if he was angry or not from his tone, but that dead look returned to his eyes as he grabbed my hand and dragged me over to one of the chairs in the room.
“Bend over,” he grunted, pushing me face down against the back of the chair.
“What are you…”
“Stay,” he growled, pressing his hand down on my neck.
Everything that happened afterward felt like something from a horror tale. One minute I was ready to curse him out, damn the consequences; the next minute he was between my legs as he shoved my feet apart. I barely had time to get used to his presence between my legs when I felt the rough intrusion of his fingers inside me.
“Es…” I cried out as the walls of my v****a constricted against his fingers at the sudden intrusion.
“Shut the fvck up,” he snarled. “You move an inch, and I can assure you every resistance from you puts one member of your clan in a shallow grave.”
I swallowed down my immediate retort as pain shot up my spine and my body trembled from the forceful thrust of his fingers in and out of me. I knew him well enough to know that was a threat he would make happen.
“I wanted to be gentle and kind, but you just had to provoke me, didn’t you?”
I bit back another painful sob and the number of fingers increased, and my pain spread through my lower half.
“Eseh, please...” He pulled his fingers out of me and I croaked out in a shaky voice at the sudden relief of the absence of his fingers.
“Do not fvcking call me that,” he growled, low, mouth close to my ear. The next pain that crashed through me felt like I had been hit by a bolt of lightning and gotten throttled by an angry horse as I felt the intrusion of his cxck at the same time as his fangs broke through my skin, and he bit down hard on my shoulder.
