Xena almost getting hurt terrified me. I don’t know what the stupid Gwen was thinking playing with a Rhino calf. Like what planet would that be a good thing?
This is all my fault. Xena was in danger because I brought this woman into the pack. I influenced the council to overrule her and accepted Gwen into the pack.
Gwen is lying on the ground bleeding when Xena and I climb down the tree. Chills descend my spine at the thought that Xena would have been the one bleeding like that had I not pulled her up to the tree. I am failing at my most important role, that is to protect my Luna.
Gwen is screaming her lungs out and calling my name. Her voice alone is getting on my nerves. She has attracted a noisy crowd too.
