A day later, we all convene in Arthur and Zandra’s kingdom. The following day the Lycan king, Carl, Damilion, Finn, Pluto, Zane, Storm, West and their whole families arrive to support us.
“I really appreciate all your support, but this is war. It will be bloody and fatal.”
They just look at me uninterested.
“This is my family’s fight. I don’t want…”
“Just stop talking,” Damilion cuts me off. “We are part of this family, Xael. We are not going anywhere.”
They all nod. I should have expected this.
“I know that, but these could be deadly. We are against a very dangerous and powerful family.”
The Lycan king shrugs. “So are we.”
I get his confidence, but he does not get it.
I am opening my mouth to speak when he cuts me off.
