I sighed as I got into my car and took out my phone. It had been a long hard day, and I hadn’t been able to leave earlier. It was nearing five and all I wanted to do was get home.
Molly: The kids are at the Bookends with Vanessa but come home first. We can fetch the kids together.
I smiled at that as I set my phone aside and started the car. The drive home only intensified the feeling of anticipation and excitement. I couldn’t wait to see what Molly had done with the house. All I could hope for was that she had allowed herself to move in and not worry about me or the kids. By the time I turned into our street, I was shocked to see that my driveway was almost packed with multiple vehicles.
