I woke up feeling even more stressed than before. I had come to bed before Molly and the first thing I noticed was that her side of the bed was cold. She had been up for a while already. I slipped out of bed and used the bathroom before I joined those that were awake in the kitchen. I saw that Molly was outside on the deck with Damon, but I ignored that as I made a beeline for the coffee pot. The day was already filled with excitement as I listened to the chatter around me.
“I’m super excited,” Vanessa said to Sophia. “And it’s a great day to be out on the water,” I left them to it as I headed outside and joined Molly and Damon.
