Jaden I sat there and stared at Molly in the dim lighting casted by the bedside lamp. The weight of Molly's confession pressed down on me like a thick fog. Pregnant. The word echoed in my mind, and it felt surreal, almost as if I had stepped into someone else’s life. "Say something…please," Molly pleaded, but I had no idea how to react. Her eyes searched mine and there was hope shining brightly in her eyes. Molly's earlier conversation now made a lot more sense to me. I blinked hard as I looked away. I needed to think. I needed to process. I climbed off the bed and left the room. I headed straight outside for some much-needed air. As I stepped outside, the cool night air hit my face.
