Ninety: Fiona Fallon

839 Words

Ninety:                                                            Fiona Fallon     I’d had my life change many times. Since the moment the people I believed were my parents died, it was as if the world had been a carousel. I was stuck spinning, and there was no one there to stop it, or help me get off. It just kept on spinning, wildly out of control. Only unlike a carousel, I had no direction. Nothing to keep me tethered. For a while, the thing that kept me tethered was Declan.     But since the accident, I had nothing to keep me tethered. Not even my memories. Now, I had Adrianus to keep me company. We were both heartbroken and lost, and we let ourselves be heartbroken and lost together. After what happened with Lady Zoe, we spent the next day wandering around the Van Gogh Museum.
