Chris and I made the house look clean and tidy. For once, we did not fight against each other; we worked well together to prepare it. Neither of us was an expert at what we were doing in the house, but we were satisfied that it was as good as we could get.
Dad phoned to say that Mrs Dickson might come home today and to have the house ready so she would not feel the need to do things when she is not up to it yet. She should be kept in the hospital longer. It had been eight days, not nearly as long as I had expected, but who were we to argue with the doctors?
We had a good routine going. In the morning, I helped Mr. D get organized for the day. He has improved a lot since Dad spoke with him, and I take him to the hospital while Chris does things around the house. I bring Roxy
