It took everything in me not to laugh at Tommo's exaggerated attempt to look at what he thought we thought was how a gay guy would act. Even my family looked shocked at his behavior; it was not how we had ever seen him behave. But it was the right thing to do.
'Cut it out, Tommo.' Roxy giggled at him, and he slumped his shoulders at her reprimand.
'You spoil sport.' Tommo huffed and pouted, trying to leave Jonas's lap, but he held him in place.
'Stay, I like you there.' Some time between Roxy having the room in fits of laughter, Tommo clowning around, and being more like the Tommo we all love and know. I managed to get Roxy to sit on my lap and hold on to her like Jonas.
Dad and Mum were thrilled that Jonas had a boyfriend and did not seem to mind that it was not a girl. A
