Grandpa, Grandma, and I worked in the spare room all morning, trying to complete it before Vincent returned. It was shaping up. I was looking at all the new equipment; we had only put together a few we understood how to assemble yesterday.
They would return after lunch sometime, and I was looking forward to showing Vincent all we had achieved and hearing how Chris was doing. Grandpa said he had damaged his ankle and was going to the hospital when they got back to have it checked out.
At least they all did well, and the organizers called me to inform me about today's results. I was officially the grand champion again this year. I will be expected to go to the last rodeo and be presented with my trophy.
