“Where do you think are you sneaking off to at midnight, mate ?”, Khloe demanded as she crossed her arms in front of her chest after dashing in front of me with raised eyebrows.
I visibly gulped when I noticed that she was blocking the last exit of the palace to escape into the woods.
It took everything in me to not trip the back of her left leg’s calf with mine and jump over her to run towards Kyra’s portal where the Seer’s spirit, or as Kyra told me Ryan’s dead mother taught us both, all kinds of trickery, warfare strategies and Dark Arts lessons.
