‘You are doing so well sweetheart’ Archer cajoled, gripping the she wolf’s hand as she growled through the next contraction, sweat pouring from her forehead.
At the bottom of the bed, Galena was concentrating as she carefully eased the baby’s shoulders out whilst the exhausted woman in front of her pushed.
Finally, a weak wail filled the room as Lucia fell back against the pillows, her eyes closing but a proud smile tugging at her lips.
Kara hurried forward, clamping, and cutting the cord before whisking the baby away to perform her checks, leaving Galena to clean up and cover the she wolf, before she head to Kara and took the now wrapped baby in her arms.
Turning toward the room, the doctor smiled, ‘so who wants first cuddle with this gorgeous young man?’ she asked.
