HAVEN
Fear starts to cripple my bones when the man's eyes start to flutter closed. Another haul comes and I'm stunned right into shock when the man who was next to where I'm standing sneaks up behind the warrior who is trying to check what's wrong with his fellow warrior with a sharp blade and swipes it across his neck, slicing him open.
Blood drains from my face as I hear his gurgling sound and watch him spurt blood from his mouth, the others are shocked too. I'm looking around as more people fall to the ground on their knees. Women, men, children, the warriors and elderly. All of them fall to the ground and the same people who fought beside them start to slaughter them mercilessly.
"No!" I scream in horror but the m******e continues. "Leave them alone!"
