When Haven insisted we take Maya and Kai's offer on teaming up for the forest journey, I thought it was a huge f*****g bad idea. There's something sketchy about these two, especially Kai, I just can't place my finger on it.
She pleaded and I said yes, but that didn't mean I was trusting Kai. I made sure to keep watching Haven closely, never taking her out of my sight for more than five seconds.
