HAVEN It's now morning and we're packing up our tents. There's still tension between me and Aamon, our talk last night didn't go well, it only made things worse. I sigh and place my hands on my waist. Watching him as he packs our things. He straightens to his full height and hands me my bag. "Here you go." Our fingertips touch in the process and I feel electricity zip between us. My eyes and his lock and it's like there's a silent understanding that we're not really mad at each other. "Thank you," I say without breaking eye contact. "You guys ready?" Kai asks. "Yeah," I answer and Aamon makes his way to Maya. "Goodmorning," she smiles at him. "Morning." He returns then nods at Kai in greeting. We start walking straight ahead and I can't help but notice how chatty Maya is with Aam
