The bell rings and I stand from my seat, I pack my books in my bag, fling it over my shoulder and head to the play field. I haven't seen Haven today, and that has unease settling in the pit of my stomach. What if I went too far last night and wore her off? Did I hurt her? Or what if me sneaking into her room when she directly told me no has made her even more furious at me.
She's become so good at avoiding me behind the school walls, it's like she's a clever little mouse who's running away from a dangerous cat. I look around, hoping that I can see her in the crowd of people but I don't.
Was making her break her 'moral' idea of respecting her mother's matrimonial home going too far? She might f*****g hate me after that.
