I was nervous about going to the homelands, but not as nervous as I was before. The memories are still very clear in my mind, but they weren’t as painful as they used to be. I was excited about seeing the homelands.
I was excited to show Noah everything we weren’t able to see before. I wanted to make new memories. Precious ones that would replace everything that used to be happy. I focused my attention on the tasks at hand and on Noah.
