I looked at Michael for only a second before realizing there was no way he was fit enough to fight yet!
“Eddie! The warriors!” I shouted. I wasn’t linked to their pack yet and when I was in my wolf form, they wouldn’t be able to hear what I said. Eddie nodded, and I shifted, leaving a furious Michael behind.
There was no time to think about it. I was acting on instinct. Reaching the first rogue, I tore right into it. This might not be my pack, but they were part of our kingdom! The fight was brutal, but ended pretty fast.
Between the warriors and me, we took care of the rogues in the blink of an eye. I didn’t even notice the gash on my shoulder until I shifted back to my human form. Eddie was ready with a gown to cover my naked body and my wound had already started to heal.
