Nate had taken stalking and prying to a whole new level, although I wasn't certain why. More often than not, I came home to him hanging out at my house, waiting for me since I was seldom home for our standing after-work pow wow. The odd part wasn't that Nate was there; it was that he didn't say much before he left. And on the days he didn't wait, he'd leave notes that were almost cryptic. Between Ferry and Tara and restarting my career, my time wasn't really my own the way it had been for the last few years.
